This Privacy Policy explains what information AList ("we", "us") collects when you use the AList web app, the AList Chrome extension, and related services (together, the "Service"), and how that information is used.
Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
- Task and workspace data: the tasks, projects, teams, tags, and notes you create, along with who you assign tasks to and share workspaces with.
- Notification data: a push notification "subscription" (an endpoint and encryption keys assigned by your browser) is stored so we can deliver reminder and assignment notifications to your device.
- Billing information: if you subscribe to AList Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer/subscription IDs and subscription status, but never your card details.
- Technical data: standard server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, timestamps) collected by our hosting and database providers.
How we use this information
We use the information above to:
- Authenticate you and keep your tasks in sync across devices and the extension.
- Send reminder, assignment, and team-invite notifications you've asked for.
- Process subscription payments and manage your plan.
- Maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
Third-party services
We rely on the following third parties to operate AList, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Google — sign-in (OAuth).
- Supabase — database, authentication, and realtime sync.
- Stripe — subscription billing.
- Your browser's push notification service (e.g. Google's FCM/Chrome push service) — delivering reminders.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your task content for advertising.
Data retention
Free-plan accounts retain completed-task history for 30 days; Pro-plan accounts retain it indefinitely, for as long as the account exists. You can delete individual tasks, projects, or teams at any time from within the app.
Your choices
You can review or delete your data, disable notifications, or close your account at any time by contacting us at the address below.
Children's privacy
AList is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
